THE PROCESS OF REVEALING THE MICROSTRUCTURE OF METALS AND THEIR ALLOYS.
By means of correct sample preparation, polishing and etching techniques, the structures are assessed using a Zeiss module optical microscope with the latest software. This aids to interpret grain size, cleanliness and more to ASTM, EN and ISO specification requirements.
A HD camera is used for microphotographs of structures up to x1000 magnification.

Metallurgical Testing
Our metallurgical department is fully equipped with both the equipment and personnel required to perform multiple metallurgical tests.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL METALLURGICAL AND ALL MECHANICAL TESTS ARE DESTRUCTIVE. PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THE SAMPLES PROVIDED MAY BE DESTROYED!
