IMPLABS is a professional metallurgical laboratory that caters for the testing requirements for the engineering, manufacturing, heat treatment, foundry and steel merchant industries.
IMPLABS was originally founded in Boksburg in late 1996 and started operating in January of 1997 as part of a larger group of companies. The labs then divorced from the group in 2004 in order to expand its reach and customer-serving abilities.

Fully Equipped Workshop
IMPLABS has a fully equipped workshop which allows for all sample preparation to be controlled in house. This includes cutting, turning, milling, grinding and polishing all test specimens into standard test pieces.
